About
Dr. Block is an attending neuropsychologist and in 2016, joined the Section of Neurobehavioral Health in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Outside of clinical and scholarly activities, she is an active member of multiple national professional organizations and committees in psychology and neuropsychology. She is also highly involved in the supervision and education of students and trainees.

Research/Clinical Interests: Her primary clinical and research interests are in adult medical neuropsychology, with specific interests in the intersection of complex medical and neurological disorders, pre/post-surgical evaluations, neurotrauma and in secondary influences on neuropsychological performance such as medication effects, fatigue, and knowledge and expectancy effects.

Research Techniques: Comprehensive evaluations to assess neuropsychological and emotional well-being in the context of neurological disease and injury. 

Current Research Projects: Dr. Block actively participates in longitudinal collaborative research with departmental faculty, with anticipated projects in development.
