Dr. Scharre conducts clinical research in dementia and mild cognitive impairment: clinical drug trials using cognitive enhancers and behavioral therapies; functional neuroimaging studies using PET, SPECT and MRI; and screening for mild cognitive impairment and early dementia diagnosis.
