Experience and Interests

Bridgette is an acute care therapist at The James. She has worked in this setting since 2015 and has treated a variety of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological impairments. Bridgette has been an avid volunteer at the Columbus Free Clinic, where she treats a multitude of patients with upper extremity injuries and issues.

Since her time at the Wexner Medical Center, Bridgette has developed and facilitated several continuing education courses and lectures for the medical center, for the Occupational Therapy program and for the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association, including “Cultural Considerations When Working with Diverse Populations.”

In addition to volunteering and teaching, Bridgette serves as the group adviser for Ohio State’s Folclor Hispano student organization, which focuses on teaching and performing folk dances from a variety of Spanish-speaking countries. In 2019, Bridgette performed Festejo (Peru), Bomba (Puerto Rico) and Cumbia (Columbia) with Folclor Hispano.
