Experience and Interests
Shannon started her career at Ohio State in August of 1997 in the SICU as a burn therapist. She left to do home care full-time and returned to Ohio State in 2013. Since then, she has become the Clinic Coordinator for Clinical Education for physical therapy students, worked in orthopedics/trauma for four years, worked in the Brain and Spine Hospital for two years and is now on the Progressive Care Unit. Being in a Level 1 Trauma Center with her more than 20 years of experience has allowed her to treat any adult patient case mix from brand new spinal cord injuries to heart transplants to burns to complex traumas without any hesitation.
