Experience and Interests

Adam has been an occupational therapist for 9 years. He has worked in various settings including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient rehabilitation. He has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation, specifically with Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury diagnoses. He also has specialized training in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention intervention and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS). Adam became interested in these areas as an OT student at OSU, where he worked at Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital as a Safety Care Associate. In addition to his clinical work, he is a full-time Clinical Instructor of Practice in the OSU OT Doctoral program, teaching mostly neuro rehab-related content. He is passionate about guiding the next generation of OT's into meaningful and impactful practice. He absolutely loves to be a part of his patients' journey to recovery.

In his free time, Adam enjoys playing tennis and volleyball, traveling the world, and spending time with his niece and nephew!
