Experience and Interests
Prior to graduate school, Joy worked in private, state and community mental health agencies. Since joining the staff at the Wexner Medical Center, she has primarily worked with clients in recovery from brain injury, which includes traumatic injury, stroke and tumor resection recovery.
She assist clients in finding community resources, providing adjustment counseling and facilitating a young adult support group for survivors of brain injury. In recent years, she has engaged in counseling services for patients who have been referred by Women’s Health.
