Experience and Interests:

Annie is a passionate speech-language pathologist clinical fellow with experience working in both inpatient and outpatient care. Throughout her coursework, she developed a strong interest in treating various speech and language disorders such as stroke, brain injury, head and neck cancer, and other neurologic diagnoses. Her passion areas lie within treating dysphagia and post-stroke patients and she highly enjoys establishing a strong rapport with patients and families to develop personalized and functional treatment plans no matter the diagnosis. Annie also obtained additional licensure in the area of augmentative-alternative communication during her graduate coursework and knows the difference that communicating effectively can make in a person's life. She plans on always expanding her knowledge and clinical skills through experience and continued education. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys anything outdoors, especially hiking and camping, expanding her large plant collection, and traveling as much as possible.
