Sameek Roychowdhury, MD, PhD, a medical oncologist and associate professor at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, describes how his treatment plan for Rhonda Ball’s cancer helped save her life and give hope to countless other patients suffering from similar forms of cancer throughout the world. The mission of Dr. Roychowdhury’s research team is identifying and improving therapy for patients with advanced cancer using genomics. Toward that goal, the team develops novel diagnostics, tools and methods to analyze and interpret genomics data, and novel therapies in clinical trials. Recorded September 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
