When you need convenient, quality care for common, less-urgent conditions or when you can’t see your primary care provider right away, Ohio State Express Care offers same-day and next-day appointments that can save you time and money. Visits are billed at a primary care rate, which is less than an urgent care visit.

Conditions we treat at Express Care (formerly Same-Day Care)

Care is provided by skilled nurse practitioners for patients 6 months and older.

• Cold, flu, strep or COVID-19 symptoms
• Eye, ear, throat and sinus infections
• Seasonal allergies, insect bites and rashes
• Minor burns, bruises and cuts NOT needing stitches
• Painful urination and urinary tract infections (UTI)

Other services offered

• Youth physicals for school, sports and camp
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccines for patients six months and older

Diagnostic tools and treatments

• Diagnostic lab tests including pregnancy, strep, COVID-19 and flu
• Prescriptions

Cost and Insurance

• Visit billed at a primary care rate. Most insurances accepted. At the time of your visit, a copay will be collected, and coinsurance may be applicable if testing is required.

• Youth physicals $39.
