Ohio State Express Care provides quick access to care for common conditions and illnesses. Our express care locations are staffed by skilled nurse practitioners in a setting that is convenient and typically less expensive than a freestanding urgent care facility.
Express Care at McCampbell Outpatient Care treats patients 6 months and older.
Conditions treated and services offered
- Cold, flu and COVID-19 symptoms including cough, sore throat, fever and headache
- Eye, ear, throat, sinus and respiratory infections
- Seasonal allergies
- Minor burns, bruises and cuts NOT requiring stitches
- Insect bites and rashes
- Painful urination and suspected urinary tract infections
- Lab tests including pregnancy, strep and flu
- School, sports and camp physicals and immunizations
- COVID-19 vaccines and boosters for patients six months and older (must be scheduled in advance)
Diagnostic tools and treatments
- Basic lab tests including pregnancy, strep, COVID-19 and flu
- Prescriptions
Express Care is not the right choice for suspected broken bones needing urgent X-rays or serious cuts needing stitches. Please visit one of our Advanced Urgent Care locations.
In addition, Express Care providers cannot treat life-threatening symptoms, behavioral issues, prenatal problems, complex health conditions or infants under 6 months. You will be referred to another provider or facility should you need care for these conditions and symptoms.
Appointments are required.
We accept most insurances. Self-pay visits start at $150 and physicals are $39.

Parking
General Parking Instructions
Parking is conveniently located behind McCampbell Outpatient Care in the Wexner Medical Center Parking Garage. The entrance to the garage is on West 10th Avenue.
Patient Courtesy Shuttle
Free Patient Courtesy Shuttles provide transportation for patients and their visitors to and from the Wexner Medical Center parking garages and buildings.
To request a Patient Courtesy Shuttle ride, Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., please call 614-293-8669.
Valet Parking
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center main campus offers valet services at each of the following locations (James Cancer Hospital, Ross Heart Hospital, University Hospital and the Brain and Spine Hospital). The cost for valet is $10 per day, and there is a maximum charge of $50 for five or more consecutive days. Valet accepts cash, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. After your visit, you can request your vehicle by:
- Presenting your ticket at the cashier podium
- Calling the valet team using the phone number on your ticket
- Scanning the QR code on your ticket
- Using the “Text Down” feature listed on your ticket
Valet service is also available at Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care, Outpatient Care Dublin, Outpatient Care New Albany and East Hospital. Valet costs may vary per location.

Handicapped accessible parking is available next to the building and in all garages on the medical center campus.
