Ohio State Urgent Care provides walk-in care Monday-Friday for minor to serious, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. It’s staffed by skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Urgent Care at McCampbell Outpatient Care treats patients 6 months and older.
Conditions treated and services offered
- Cold, flu, strep and COVID-19 symptoms including cough, sore throat, fever and headache
- Eye, ear, throat, sinus and respiratory infections
- Seasonal allergies, rashes and insect bites
- Sports and activity-related injuries including suspected broken bones, sprains and strains
- Minor burns, bruises and cuts
- Painful urination and suspected urinary tract infections (UTI)
- Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
- Sexual health concerns
- Lab tests including pregnancy, strep and flu
- School, sports and camp physicals and immunizations
- COVID-19 vaccines and boosters for patients six months and older (must be scheduled in advance)

- Basic lab tests including pregnancy, strep, COVID-19 and flu
- Prescriptions
In addition, Urgent Care providers cannot treat life-threatening symptoms, behavioral issues, prenatal problems, complex health conditions or infants under 6 months. You will be referred to another provider or facility should you need care for these conditions and symptoms.
We accept most insurances. Self-pay visits start at $150 and physicals are $39.

Parking
General Parking Instructions
You can self-park in any parking garage. The parking facility closest is conveniently located behind McCampbell Outpatient Care in the Wexner Medical Center Parking Garage. The entrance to the garage is on West 10th Avenue.
Be sure to bring your garage ticket with you to get it validated at the Patient Experience desk in the main lobby or at a registration desk.
Free shuttle service is available to and from many medical center parking garages and buildings. View options.
Valet Parking
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center main campus offers valet services at each of the following locations:
- University Hospital
- Ohio State Emergency Department
- Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute
- University Hospital – Rhodes Hall/Doan Hall
- University Hospital – Pavilion
The cost for valet parking is $10 per day, and there is a maximum charge of $50 for five or more consecutive days. Valet accepts cash, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
After your visit, you can request your vehicle by:
- Presenting your ticket at the cashier podium
- Calling the valet team using the phone number on your ticket
- Scanning the QR code on your ticket
- Using the “Text Down” feature listed on your ticket
Valet service is also available at University Hospital, Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care, Outpatient Care Dublin, Outpatient Care New Albany and East Hospital. Valet costs may vary by location.
Disability Parking
Parking for our guests with disabilities is available in all patient and visitor garages on the main medical center campus. For easiest self-park access to University Hospital, park in the Wexner Medical Center Garage, which has an enclosed pedestrian walkway on the fourth level that connects to the hospital.
