Biography
As a vascular surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, my focus is on caring for patients with aortic disease, including occlusions, dissections and aneurysms. I serve as director of the Ohio State Aortic Center and director of the Heart and Vascular Outreach Network. My role includes performing emergency surgeries, but I also provide long-term care to help my patients manage symptoms and achieve their health goals.
I have practiced medicine for more than a decade, and my patients have excellent outcomes. During the preoperative consultation, my patients can rely on me to thoroughly explain their complex procedure, including the risks and benefits associated with it, and what to expect in recovery. I am proud to work alongside an exemplary team of nurses, radiology technicians, scrub technicians, cardiac anesthesiologists and intensivists, to provide the best, most comprehensive care possible. Here at Ohio State, I have been honored with the Clinical Mastery Excellence Award.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
