Biography
As a surgeon, I often meet patients and their families at the lowest points of their entire lives, and have the opportunity to have a profound impact on their comfort, well-being and quality of life. I’m committed to establishing meaningful relationships with patients and their families and encouraging them to take part in the decision-making process because I want to provide the best care possible. I specialize in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary bypass, valve repair and replacement, arrhythmia surgery, and both heart and lung transplantation.
Both my wife and I grew up in Columbus and I attended The Ohio State University for graduate school and medical school. The collegiality and universal commitment to excellence in patient care, research and education makes Ohio State a truly exceptional place.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and following collegiate and professional sports.

Great experience - 4th floor cardiac ICU was very professional and supportive.
good
My meeting with Dr. Henn was very brief and I was referred to another doctor for thoracic surgery.
Dr. Henn is a good man from my observation. Professional, considerate and seems to genuinely care. Listens and answers questions. I would say that the Dr. Henn is the best hope for survival that I have and I fully trust him and his ability.
Great. Well taken care of.
Dr Henn is the ultimate professional
He also personable and very informative. Explained the surgery and the things about it. Explained the pros and cons of the two types of methods well.
Very good. Very thorough. Very informative.
Professional, but very friendly. Answered all my questions.

Wonderful, caring doctor. You can tell how much he cares about his patients by the way he talks to you and listens to you.
