It’s an honor and privilege to be trusted by a patient to help protect their vision. During every patient visit, I ensure they receive the highest level of my attention and the evidenced-based quality care that they deserve. I get to know my patients, which allows me to recommend the best medical treatments that fit into their lifestyle, not only based on the most up-to-date information but also the latest surgical advances.
I specialize in comprehensive ophthalmology, including cataract surgery, laser cataract surgery, medical management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration and other eye conditions.
To me, The Ohio State University has always been the standard for high quality and excellence, all across the board. Although I enjoyed being in private practice for almost 10 years, working at Ohio State connects me to the very best in collaboration in education, research and clinical-based outcomes. I’m honored to be a part of changing health care with a dynamic team.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, watching and playing sports, and being a fan of all things Ohio State. Go Bucks!

I absolutely LOVE Dr Ford. I wish she could be my doctor for everything! (Not just my eyes). She's warm, friendly, always seems to be in a very good mood, she has excellent listening skills, she spends extra time with me when needed, she's funny. I can tell her team adores her & like working for her. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. I drive 45 min to see her when there are much closer eye doctors.

I love Dr. Ford. I was seeing her as a follow-up from my optometrist for a recurring eye infection.
I love my provider. I traveled almost 2 hours to see her. She had been my doctor years ago where I live before she came here.She is so easy to talk to and explains things in a way you can understand. I really like this doctor. The only bad experience that I had with her was regarding a severe allergic reaction to drops that were prescribed to me after cataract surgery several months ago. She did not leave a number where she could be reached over the weekend, so I had to contact the resident in the ER who had no clue what was going on,
