About Me
As an endocrinologist at Ohio State, I specialize in type 1 diabetes. I believe in personalizing my care approach to help patients adapt to life with diabetes, rather than only focusing on long-term glucose levels (A1C values), writing prescriptions and a quick discharge. I think it's important to help people understand the reality of living with type 1 diabetes.
I am working to develop a comprehensive program where people with type 1 diabetes feel they have a clinic that cares about them as a person. I want to help my patients adapt their regimen to their changing lifestyle. In addition to developing the clinic dedicated to adults with type 1 diabetes, we are also developing community-based activities and programs. Our goal is to have networking opportunities throughout the Columbus area for people with type 1 diabetes and their families.
One particular focus for our program is helping the young adults transition to college then to life after college. In addition to serving as an advisor on the national level for the College Diabetes Network (CDN), I also provide support to Ohio State’s chapter of CDN which helps to provide peer and social; networking to our college students living with diabetes.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2022, Dr. Wyne has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

Good - She was very caring and helpful also she spend a lot of time explaining everything.
Knowledge is power, and I was given valuable knowledge that I had not ever been told before regarding diabetes. I'm forever grateful. Nothing bad at all.
The doctor was amazing. She was very helpful and listened to my concerns and took them seriously. I very much appreciate her.
Dr. Wyne has helped me improve my diabetes management and A1C like no other provider has. She has gone above and beyond to help me.
She is always amazing. I was excited to have two new doctors also in my visit as they are learning.
I really liked her. I've been a diabetic for 23 years and this was the best provider I've had so far. I felt as though she truly had a vested interest in my history and care. The time she spent with me felt as though she really cared.
First time meeting her. Very friendly and listened to my concerns
Good: Gave treatment while having fun, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, listened to me & incorporated my concerns into treatment plan. Bad: N/A.
They were really great, but I had around a two-hour wait while my ride was in the car.
Appreciate Dr. Wyne's recommendation and kindness.
Very professional
Dr wyne was so knowledgeable and even though it was an overwhelming visit with my new diabetic diagnosis i felt so comfortable and good after leaving. it was a much needed comfort level.
my care provider was attentive and kind. I was fortunate to have an appointment as quickly as I did. The next phase of my health treatment depends on getting my blood sugar under control.
my first time at this office, I really like her and her ideas
