Biography
As a vascular surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, my focus is on caring for patients with aortic disease, including occlusions, dissections and aneurysms. I serve as director of the Ohio State Aortic Center and director of the Heart and Vascular Outreach Network. My role includes performing emergency surgeries, but I also provide long-term care to help my patients manage symptoms and achieve their health goals.
I have practiced medicine for more than a decade, and my patients have excellent outcomes. During the preoperative consultation, my patients can rely on me to thoroughly explain their complex procedure, including the risks and benefits associated with it, and what to expect in recovery. I am proud to work alongside an exemplary team of nurses, radiology technicians, scrub technicians, cardiac anesthesiologists and intensivists, to provide the best, most comprehensive care possible. Here at Ohio State, I have been honored with the Clinical Mastery Excellence Award.

Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. A great doctor.
My wife asked why one part of my aorta was not fixed during the other two surgeries. She said because the surgery for that the incision would be in a different area ( I have two major different incisions already) Also said this one would be more dangerous if I needed it in 10 years or so. My wife and I could have went without knowing in the the future this next surgery could be even more dangerous. Something we didn't need to know at this time. Maybe it could have been phrased differently.
