Ralph Augostini, MD, FACC, is the co-director of the electrophysiology training program and director of the ambulatory device clinic. As a cardiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, he specializes in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Augostini was named one of America’s Best Doctors in 2009.
An associate professor of clinical medicine at Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center, Dr. Augostini earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Augostini’s clinical and research interests include electrophysiology, pacing and ablation. Dr. Augostini is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society, and a member of several professional organizations, including the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.
