About Me

I am an interventional cardiologist and assistant professor of medicine within The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s cardiology division. My areas of specialty include valvular and structural heart disease as well as specialized procedures for atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).

I have a particular interest in treating aortic valve disorders and closing atrial septal defects (or holes) in the heart. I treat these and many other heart conditions. Suffering from heart disease presents unique challenges for individuals and families. My goal is to be mindful of these challenges and provide personalized, patient-centered care.

I want to help patients better understand their diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care. This type of partnership can enhance outcomes and improve the quality of their daily lives.

A high level of patient care prevails throughout Ohio State, where attentive and innovative care is delivered in a comprehensive and patient-centered way.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time reading and relaxing with my family.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
