Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Gyang has reported relationships with the companies or entities listed below. If you have questions about the relationships listed below, please ask the faculty member. If you have questions about how these relationships are monitored by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, please contact our Compliance Office.
I only need to visit on an annual basis as my ms is under control.Listens if I do have concerns and answers my questions.
Very thorough, personable, and caring.
She spent a great deal of time understanding a previous hospital stay and advising me on the way forward.
She was great!
Good
She explained why she didn't recamend any new medications for me.
Always listening to my issues. Helps me try to figure things out & even made suggestions for things that may help me. Love her!
Does an amazing job and stays professional
My doctor makes sure I am completely comfortable and informed about all decisions and making certain I'm informed about what is best for me.
Brilliant and accommodating.
Great listener and always easy to get ahold of and if left a message it is always returned very quickly
Helpful
Dr. Gyang minimized my symptoms and failed to show concern for the neurological issues related to my autoimmune disorder. I had to continuously seek out information about my condition and what I should expect as my neurological symptoms progress. She failed to consider my reported symptoms since they were not apparent during her very simple physical exam. I even had to inquire about potential bloodwork, which was suggested by my referring provider. I will not be following up with Dr. Gyang for her inattentiveness to my concerns and lack of initiative in counseling me about my health.
Dr Gyang was excellent. She is very sharp and intelligent. She was well versed on my medical issues. I am so happy to have this doctor. She gives me hope that my issues can be improved. I have been dealing with this problem for 11 years and have been to two other hospitals that have made no progress with doctors that have been poor at best.
Really excellent doctor

This was my first time visit with her and I am extremely pleased with her.
Excellent!
Dr. showed interest in me & caring.
Dr. Gyang is so cool and comfortable to talk to. She listens to everything I have to tell her and then tells me how she feels about it.
She was very informative and she worked to get me to two services that might help me.
She was absolutely wonderful.. I never felt rushed like she had to move on the the next patient.. She had been the only one who has actually listened to me and help try to resolve what is going on with me over these last few months .. She answered all my questions and she was very thorough and I feel like she covered everything.. She was very informative and I felt very confident in the fact that she knew what she was talking about..
She treated me very well! Best I have had, very knowledgeable, I was impressed by this!
Very good
It was very bad as far as I'm concerned
The neurologist was polite, made eye contact, had knowledge of my medical records and history. Did a thorough follow up to check for any changes of any kind since the last appointment and tests done. All my questions were answered in a clear, understandable way.
We discussed my current problems and possible treatment to improve them.
Dr Gyang was very kind and compassionate
The doctor was very patient. She listened to me and I felt like I had input into my care. She did not make me feel as if all of my concerns were easily dismissed by other health conditions. I know my body and how COVID had impacted my ability to function.
She is relatively new to me, but seems quite pleasant.
I always have a very good experience with OSU providers.
Friendly with review of my personal data
She was very informative
Dr Gyang was respectful and explained thoroughly her conclusion regarding my care.
Appointment was provided immediately following MRI. That way I quickly found out my bi-annual infusions were highly effective
Best neurology visit I ever hadExtensive detailed notes from visit available on MyChart very soon after visit
Very informative and professional
Dr. Gyang was very professional & knowledgeable about my condition. She answered all of my questions satisfactorily.
