About Me
I am a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine conditions including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid diseases, adrenal gland disorders, Cushing syndrome, metabolic syndrome, and osteoporosis.
My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I am a professor of Internal Medicine and serve as the director of the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Center at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Seemed rushed and overbooked. However appeared to be kind and appropriately concerned about my health.
She is terrible. She is always frazzled, disorganized, ill-prepared, and insensitive. She had nothing prepared before seeing me, was more than 30min late to see me, didn't order any of the labs she said she would, and always responds to questions in a manner that shows she wasn't really listening to the question asked.
She has saved my life. My diabetes was out of control. I saw 2 other doctors prior to her. She worked at getting me on right medication and right dosage. She followed up when test came back. After negative experience with other diabetes doctors she was ( is ) a breath of fresh air.

My care provider was amazing as always. They made sure to take care of my needs and gave recommendations on how to better my health.
She had carefully read my chart and encouraged me to take a cholesterol lowering medicine based on my labs. She answered my questions about alendronate, and follow up care related to this med. We discussed preauthorization that would be needed for my Synthroid prescription, and how that would be done.
