Garlic Steak Bites

Serves: 4 Servings
Items Needed:
Bowl, large cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 tablespoon Chef Mike's everyday seasoning
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried or 2 sprigs fresh
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
Chef Mike's Everyday Seasoning:
Equal parts: onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, pepper
Directions
- In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with 1 tablespoon olive oil and everyday seasoning.
- In a large cast-iron skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steak bites. Cook each side for about 1-2 minutes. Remove the steak.
- Reduce the heat to low, add in the butter and shallots and season with black pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the shallots are softened. Add in the thyme, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce and cook for 30 more seconds. Add the steak back into the skillet and toss to combine.
- Serve the steak bites with roasted or sautéed vegetables, salad, or mashed cauliflower.
