The Nursing Executive Council (NEC), chaired by The Ohio State University Health System CNE, serves as the key decision-making, strategic planning and coordinating body on behalf of all nurses and nursing staff at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
The NEC is comprised of senior nursing leaders from the medical center, and the NEC collaborates with hospital leaders and nurses at all levels to develop and direct nursing services across the health system. They are part of the Health System Shared Governance System Communication Flow, disseminating information to hospital administration/leaders.
