Updating your Communication Preferences

To receive some notifications via text, and others via email, mobile push notification or phone call, update your Communication Preferences using one of the methods below.

  • Log in to your MyChart account and visit MyChart menu > Account Settings > Communication Preferences.
  • Use the preregistration link emailed to you before your appointment. You do not need to have a MyChart account to complete online preregistration. If you have a valid email address on file, you will receive an email to check in for your appointment.
  • Contact us at 866-966-6975, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET, except holidays or email MyChartTechSupport@osumc.edu. You do not need to have a MyChart account to get help from MyChart Technical Support.
  • Speak with a staff member at one of our locations or by calling your provider’s office.
  • If you text STOP you are unsubscribing from all text message notifications from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Instead, update your settings and turn off the messages you don’t want to receive.
