About Me

I specialize in sports medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where I provide care for injuries and medical conditions that affect a patient’s ability to be active throughout his or her lifetime.

I played football at The Ohio State University from 1989 to 1993, and the physicians who cared for me when I was a student-athlete inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. As a former athlete, I enjoy helping patients of all ages recover from injuries and return to the activities they enjoy. I see patients for acute sports injuries, overuse sports injuries and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

I believe in working with patients to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for their individual health issues. I also enjoy helping people to remain active and healthy.

I love working in a place that provides a comprehensive, collaborative environment where everyone is dedicated to the personal healthcare of our patients.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and running.

I love Dr Borchers and his team. I cannot say enough about their skill, knowledge, professionalism. The person who checked me in was stellar. What a pleasant, kind, and efficient person. The facility is first-rate, of course. I've met with my physical therapist only once so far and am equally impressed.
