About Me
As a gastroenterologist and advanced therapeutic endoscopist, I perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic ultrasound, luminal stent placement, endoscopic suturing and endoscopic mucosal resection.
The majority of my clinical practice is devoted to managing patients with pancreatic disease and gastrointestinal cancer. I provide treatments for patients with stones and bile duct obstructions, fine needle aspiration of pancreatic tumors, nerve block for cancer-related pain and the removal of large polyps or small tumors.
I am among a small number of gastroenterologists interested in translational science and advanced endoscopy. As a member of the Molecular Carcinogenesis and Chemoprevention at the OSUCCC – James, my research focuses on early diagnosis and diagnostic differentiation of pancreatic lesions, as well as the specific role of endoscopic ultrasound.
It’s rewarding to know that I can make a difference through clinical research in addition to providing procedural expertise. It’s a privilege to be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team and a member of Ohio’s State Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Department.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/01/2020, Dr. Krishna has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Dr. Krishna is very thorough and caring. Explains situation in detail. Takes time with patients. Not rushed.
The best physician at OSU!
He's the best.
Dr Krishna seemed very knowledgable about my specific condition and instilled confidence in the path forward that he recommended.
He is caring, professional, and he understands my issues. He does know his medical profession. He took me off a lot of medicine that I was on that I didn't need to be on (from other physicians) to take a process of elimination) I can email him and he response to my question and helps me understand the answer. I love to be able to email through OSU app.
Outstanding - explained everything in detail. Very attentive to our questions.
