About Me

My goal for each patient is to provide integrated and innovative treatment strategies and education and research for injuries and conditions affecting athletes in order to optimize performance.

I’m a member of Ohio State's Orthopaedics Department. I specialize in the operative and non-operative treatment of sports-related injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, knee, foot and ankle. I am passionate about my career because I have been participating in sports for most of my life and want to help others do the same.

What I enjoy most about working here is serving as the team physician for The Ohio State University.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, relaxing with my family, attending Ohio State football games, working out, running and participating in fitness competitions.

He, too, asked great questions and listened carefully. He also offered excellent options that made sense to me.

I visited Dr Miller for an issue with my left foot...the same foot that originally brought me to him in the first place. After a very quick discussion about the issue and having me do some movements with my foot, he very clearly told me that he "wasn't sure what could be causing" the issue with my foot. He recommended either a brace or boot and some PT. He then left the room. The nurse dropped off the PT script and then Christine (who is absolutely wonderful) was sent in to fit my brace. It was from her that I realized what Dr Miller had actually diagnosed me with...PTTD. Never once did he mention this diagnosis to me. If he had, I would have definitely had some questions and would have wanted to discuss this with him.

I appreciate Dr. Miller's focus on my injury. Some doctors distract with filler conversation, but he keeps our conversations on the topic of why I am there, to heal my ankle injury. This helps me to listen to him and ask necessary questions.

Thoughtful when I described some collateral issues related to my operation and recommended the issues to program of physical therapy.
