Talbot Hall is home to Ohio State’s comprehensive drug and alcohol addiction services.

Since 1974, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has provided high-quality treatment for substance use disorders at Talbot Hall. We’re a leader in Columbus, Ohio, and the region in addiction medicine.

Our physicians and staff, many with decades of experience in the field of addiction, are specially trained in the latest clinical techniques and proven treatment methods. For example, we have 40 inpatient beds, including 25 withdrawal management beds and 15 for a new residential unit. We offer expert medication management for those needing prescriptions to curb substance use while offering superb psychotherapy and support groups to help identify reasons behind and triggers for the addiction.

Our addiction treatment services at Talbot Hall serve people who struggle with:

  • Alcohol
  • Marijuana
  • Prescription medications, such as pain pills or stimulants
  • Cocaine
  • Opiates, such as oxycodone, hydrocodone (Vicodin) and heroin
  • Methamphetamine
  • Inhalants
  • Hallucinogens, such as ecstasy or LSD

To begin your treatment at Talbot Hall, we’ll first provide an initial evaluation to understand the physical, psychological and social elements of your addiction.
