Inpatient spinal cord injury recovery outcomes
In 2024, our inpatient spinal cord injury services treated 133 people. About 74.4% of the spinal cord injury patients were male and 25.6% were female, and the average age was 54. They stayed an average of 17.4 days at Dodd and spent five hours a day in therapy.
After spinal cord injury rehabilitation, 72.2% of spinal cord injury patients were discharged from Dodd straight to home – 91.5% were back in their own homes within 90 days of their discharge from the hospital.

In 2024, we treated 155 patients in outpatient spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Patients with spinal cord injuries had an average of 14 outpatient visits over the course of 11.37 weeks.
