Experience and Interests

In addition to patient care, Dr. Banhos is the physical therapy Team Lead for Education and Evidence Based Practice at OSU’s Dodd Rehabilitation and Acute Care settings. She graduated as the 2012 Physical Therapy Neurologic Resident at Ohio State, and is now a Board Certified Specialist in Neurologic PT.

Because of her experiences in the residency, Meredith is passionate about pursuing opportunities in clinical care, teaching, and research. At Dodd, she treats patients on the brain injury and spinal cord injury teams, and she has assisted with developing the Disorders of Consciousness Program for those with severe traumatic brain injuries. She is also the Clinical Director for the PT Neurologic Residency Program and guest lectures in OSU’s Doctorate program in the neurologic and advanced neurologic curriculums. Outside the clinic, she serves on her District’s Board for the Ohio Physical Therapy Association. All of these roles are driven by Meredith’s passion for getting people back to doing what they love.
