Resources for Staff
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the health and well-being of our faculty and staff has been and continues to be a priority. The forced closure of schools, daycare centers and many children's camps has resulted in heightened stress for our faculty and staff with young children or with other dependent care responsibilities.
In order to do your best at work, you need to feel supported in other parts of your life. It can be difficult to know where to go to find the trustworthy and reliable support services you need – whether it’s helping your children learn in an entirely new way, supporting older family members who look to you for help, or caring for pets when work and other demands stack up.
That’s why we’re excited to share that all employees at The Ohio State University now have access to the family services of Bright Horizons, a group of trusted national consultants, who can help connect you to a range of reliable and well-screened childcare, pet care, eldercare, tutoring, and other services.
Visit Bright Horizons to get started and explore the many options. Email hrconnection@osu.edu if you have any questions about Bright Horizons services.
We have created this webpage to support you. As you search through and utilize these resources and services, please keep in mind that Ohio State does not endorse any dependent care option. If you are aware of a resource that is not included, consider sharing with employeefeedback@osumc.edu.
