Biography

I specialize in vascular surgery, focusing on open and complex endovascular management of aortic disease, peripheral artery disease and venous disease. Establishing enduring patient relationships is at the core of my approach to patient care. I care for each patient as a unique individual, collaborating closely to comprehend their specific needs and treatment goals.

I chose a career in medicine because it allows me to combine technical skills with the privilege of helping people through some of their most vulnerable moments. Vascular surgery interests me because of its complexity, precision and the lasting impact it can have on restoring a patient’s quality of life. Each day in this field reinforces my passion for problem-solving, lifelong learning and building meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

I believe that personalized care leads to the best outcomes. I take the time to understand each patient’s specific condition, lifestyle and goals, then develop a tailored treatment plan that fits their individual needs. Whether managing complex arterial disease and venous disorders or performing advanced endovascular procedures, my focus is always on providing the safest, most effective solutions.

I treat every patient as I would a member of my own family, with honesty, compassion and respect. My goal is to ensure that each patient feels heard, cared for and confident in their treatment journey.

Academics and research

My primary research focuses on improving clinical outcomes and advancing our understanding of vascular disease, with a particular emphasis on aortic and peripheral artery disease. I am especially interested in the development and evaluation of new endovascular devices and techniques aimed at enhancing safety and durability. I also have a strong interest in healthcare policy and data-driven policy implementation that can have a strong impact in our community. My ongoing studies seek to optimize patient selection, procedural planning and long-term surveillance following complex aortic interventions. Looking ahead, my goal is to bridge clinical practice and innovation by collaborating with industry and academic partners to design and refine next-generation technologies that improve outcomes for patients with vascular diseases.
