Restore, refine, repair with Ohio State's facial plastic surgeons

Everyone has a favorite feature, as well as something about their appearance that they wish they could improve. Often, all it takes is a small change to make a big difference. At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, our goal in the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is to help you look your very best with a full range of both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options to:

  • slow or reverse the effects of aging
  • improve skin tone and texture
  • change a feature
  • repair appearance following an accident or injury
  • restore facial movement

Our aesthetic procedures include:

  • Botox®, filler and Kybella® injections
  • Skin resurfacing
  • Facial rejuvenation surgery, such as face-lift, brow-lift and eyelid surgery
  • Rhinoplasty (nose shaping)
  • Otoplasty and earlobe repair
  • Cosmetic eye surgery

Our reconstructive procedures include:

  • Nasal obstruction surgery
  • Reanimation after facial paralysis

If it bothers you, let’s fix it

We’re here to help you address any concern, large or small, with compassion and respect. And while we offer a full range of nonsurgical treatments, there are some facial issues that can only be addressed through surgery. At Ohio State, you’ll be cared for by one of our board certified facial plastic surgeons and a support team of health care professionals. All are dedicated to your comfort and personal well-being.

Many procedures can be completed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis, and you can expect to return home the same day. More complicated cases deserve the level of care only available through an inpatient stay. Ultimately, we’ll work together to decide what works best for your situation, and because facial surgery is typically elective, we can plan procedures to fit your schedule.

Whatever treatment you choose, our physicians will take the time to explain every detail of your care so you know what to expect before, during and after surgery. Follow-up not only ensures an optimal final result, but also gives us an opportunity to discuss any lingering concerns you might have or to explore additional procedures you might want.

Getting started

We understand that you need to ask questions before deciding on treatment and we encourage you to schedule a no-obligation appointment to learn about your options. We appreciate the opportunity to help you identify the specific procedures that will help you look and feel your best!
