Ohio State Advanced Urgent Care provides walk-in care for urgent, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries seven days a week. In addition, we can also treat less urgent conditions. Our advanced level of care and diagnostics, supervised by emergency medicine physicians, gives you the expertise of a hospital emergency department but with shorter wait times and at a lower cost than visiting the emergency department.
Visits are billed at a specialist rate, which is higher than an urgent care rate, but less than an emergency department visit. A traditional urgent care copay does not apply to this advanced level of urgent care. A deductible or coinsurance may apply.
Advanced Urgent Care at East Hospital is available evenings and weekends for patients 14 years and older.
Entrance is located behind the Emergency Department on the west side of the building. Follow signs for Wound Care and Advanced Urgent Care.
If you are in need of same day care for common illnesses or conditions, you may be able to visit Express Care at Outpatient Care East, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
