Inpatient stroke recovery outcomes
In 2024, our inpatient stroke program treated 233 people. About 54.4% of stroke patients were male and 45.5% were female, and the average age was 63. They stayed an average of 13.4 days at Dodd and spent four and a half hours a day in therapy.
After stroke rehabilitation, 72.2% of stroke patients were discharged from Dodd straight to home – 94.9% were back in their own homes within 90 days of their discharge from the hospital.

Outpatient stroke recovery outcomes
We bring the same quality and compassion of our inpatient care to our outpatient stroke program. Our expert physiatrists and therapists offer these services at locations throughout central Ohio.
In 2024, we treated 374 stroke patients in outpatient stroke rehabilitation. Stroke patients had an average of 15 visits over the course of 11.37 weeks.
