ElderImageRTFThe world-renowned experts at the OSUCCC – James are transforming the way brain and spine tumors are prevented, detected and treated

As part of the Neurological Institute within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, the Brain and Spine Tumor Center at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) delivers a full range of research-based, multidisciplinary and compassionate clinical care for patients with all forms of brain and spine cancer.

Our subspecialists are world-renowned authorities in brain and spine oncology, surgery, radiology and research who work together to devise an optimal treatment plan for each patient’s biologically unique cancer. Their combined expertise enables them to quickly translate laboratory discoveries to bedside care often delivered through innovative clinical trials that provide some of the most advanced treatments offered anywhere. Our center benefits from a wealth of resources that are available to us as part of an academic medical center, a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a freestanding cancer hospital, all located on one of the nation’s largest universities.

At the center’s Multidisciplinary Brain and Spine Tumor Clinic, patients diagnosed with any type of brain or spine cancer can receive—in one location and on the same day—a thorough evaluation and a discussion about treatment-options from our team of experts in neurologic radiation oncology, surgical oncology and medical oncology, so that each patient’s individualized treatment plan can begin without delay.
