Research Interests
As a clinical neuropsychologist and researcher, my work is focused on investigating the cognitive processes and behavioral patterns associated with neurological conditions, such as neurodegenerative diseases, traumatic brain injury, and neurodevelopmental disorders through active participation in multidisciplinary research projects. I am particularly interested in exploring the effects of interventions (e.g., neurostimulation, mindfulness, cognitive rehabilitation) on various medical conditions (e.g., concussion, mild cognitive impairment). I am also interested in developing strategies to enhance current neuropsychological assessment methods. My primary aims are to advance our understanding of neurological conditions and improve care and quality of life in patients affected by those same conditions.
Clinical Interests
My clinical interests encompass a wide range of neurodegenerative conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. As a clinician, my primary focus is evaluating older adults who present with cognitive concerns. Through a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation, I aim to diagnose neurocognitive disorder and gain a nuanced understanding of each patient’s cognitive profile. By identifying cognitive strengths and weaknesses, patients and their family can develop strategies to optimize functioning and quality of life.
