We’re creating a consistent entry process, no matter how you arrive for your appointment, visit or stay. The safety of our patients, visitors, staff and learners is paramount to our ability to provide world-class care, and we thank you for your support of these efforts.

Entering our hospitals

The new scanning technology you’ll see at our public entrances is like what’s used at Ohio Stadium or the Schottenstein Center. You simply walk through without removing keys or personal items.

It’s important that you leave at home any pocketknives or other weapon-like items including firearms, blades and pepper spray. These items aren’t permitted in our hospitals.

If you have any questions about preparing for your appointment or how to navigate these changes, please call our Patient Experience team at 614-293-8944.
