Revision surgery is for patients who have had a previous bariatric procedure and experienced complications as a result of that procedure, or have inadequate weigh loss or weight regain.

Revision surgery for patients with complications includes:

  • Band removal for reflux
  • Band removal and conversion to gastric bypass for reflux
  • Sleeve conversion to gastric bypass for reflux
  • Revision of gastric bypass for ulcer disease

For patients with inadequate weight loss or weight regain, surgery is determined on a case-by-case basis.
