A critical mission of the Neurology department at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center is to provide highly skilled diagnostic services and personalized, comprehensive care for neurological disorders, at a level of expertise typically only available at academic tertiary medical centers. The following list of clinics were developed to support those living with headaches, migraine and concussion, and their caregivers.

Headache Pregnancy Clinic

Goal: To provide specialized care and treatment plans for individuals with headache disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

During pregnancy, we offer regular follow-ups to closely monitor changes in headache patterns and discuss safe pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs. We also evaluate and expedite workup for secondary headaches to ensure timely and effective care. In the postpartum period, we focus on addressing breastfeeding goals with safe medication options. Patients then continue their care within our regular headache department for long-term management.
